Luminescence is a property that allows certain chemical substances to emit light for a long time after being exposed to artificial or natural lighting. The luminescence effect of Bright Materials products is not only long-lasting and intense, but also completely safe, as they do not contain any harmful substances for humans and environment, for instance, phosphorus.

The application of luminescent products is of a wide range - from unique landscape and design objects for the urban environment and the interior, to integration of luminescent substances in safety signs and escape route signs.

New! Pebble-shaped extra luminescent stones

Extra luminescent pebble-shaped stones are available in two colours (with yellowish green and bluish green shade in darkness). The material colour in daylight – light yellow. The optimum amount of material necessary to obtain beautiful “starry night” effect is 100-300 g/m2. Diameter of the stones is 10-35mm. The material is suitable for any processing or polishing, so it can be applied not only by embedding the stones in different road surfaces (asphalt or pavement) but also in any other decorative elements or on natural coverage sidewalks (mulch, pebbles, etc.). Exposure to any natural or artificial light source for at least a few minutes will provide a 3 to 10 hour luminescent effect (depending on the colour of the night gloss chosen and the size of the stones).

Extra luminescent glass grit

The luminescent glass grit is available in two different tones (green and blue shades). Its most frequent application is integration in pavements, decorative elements or on natural coverage pathways (such as mulch, pebbles, etc.). For the creation of long-lasting pavements, the luminescent grit is mixed with adhesives and rock mass sub-layer (pebbles or grit), thus obtaining a high-strength surface coverage, which is not only durable but also serves as an amazing design element in dark evening and night hours. This material is widely used also by incorporating it in concrete flooring which requires decorative function, as well as in cobblestones, cement tiles, etc. The material is suitable for milling.

Paint additives / pigments

Different colours available. The luminescence effect depends on the size of the pigments - the bigger the pigment, the more intense the luminescence effect. This product is widely used as an additive to interior wall paint in residential or office premises. Only 5-10% should be added to the basic paint structure in order to obtain optimal paint composition for the top layer of the painted wall. When switching off the lighting or when it gets dark, the surface of walls will radiate a unique shine effect which resembles moonlight reflection. These pigments are used in all Bright Materials produced items for the creation of luminescence effect.

Luminescent pebbles

Small pebbles made of high resistance luminescent glass. Suitable both for interior and exterior. Available in different colour combinations, in total 13 colours. 1 kg = approximately 150 pcs. The product has a very wide range of applications. The pebbles, because of their one flat side with rough surface, can be incorporated in a wide variety of materials both indoors and outdoors, thus obtaining a fantastic and unique effect in the darkness.

Decorative buttons

Small, decorative, luminescent, high resistance glass buttons, available in different colour variations both in the daylight and darkness. Suitable for interior and exterior. 1 kg = approximately 600-700 pcs. The product has a very wide range of applications. The buttons, because of their one flat side with rough surface, can be incorporated in a wide variety of materials both indoors and outdoors, thus obtaining a fantastic and unique effect in the darkness.

Paints and sprays

Special finishing paints for concrete, glass, wood, plastic and metal. They contain a colourless/transparent basis with luminescent pigments. The paint can be applied on any surface that you wish to illuminate. During the daylight the luminescent effect will not be noticeable; however, when it gets dark, the processed surface will radiate luminescence.

Masterbatch / Polymer additives

The polymer additive can be added in amount of 3% to 15% during any plastic extrusion or moulding process, thus achieving that any produced item obtains a luminescent effect.

Tiles (both fully luminescent and with starry luminescence effect)

High quality luminescent tiles. Available in different sizes and colour combinations both in the daylight and darkness. The tiles can be incorporated not only as local decorative elements but also for tiling of larger continuous areas.

Luminescent glass mosaic

Luminescent tiles available in different sizes and colour combinations both in the daylight and darkness. Tiles with ceramic sub-layer available as well. The producer offers also extra high quality mosaic tiles - handmade in Murano glass factory which contain elements of gold.
